Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so naturally you want all aspects of your special day to run smoothly. To help ensure your hairstyling goes according to plan and to put your nerves at ease, you should take the time to complete a pre-wedding trial. After all, a hairdresser can have an enormous impact on your wedding day and being with a stylist you are unsure of will make it difficult for you to relax and enjoy the experience.

For the bride

A trial is an important step that allows you to get to know your stylist, and to feel confident that she understands your needs. Also if you are unsure of what type of style would suit you and your gown best, a trial gives you the perfect opportunity to try out a few different looks, experiment with headgear, etc.

For the stylist

A trial is essential for gathering vital information such as how much time to allow on the actual day. Things like the style of your dress, headgear, and if you will be wearing a veil are all important factors that your stylist will need to consider. Speaking to you about your hairstyling likes and dislikes, and being able to experience your hair first-hand will better enable your stylist to create your ideal wedding look.

Although having a trial may mean putting additional cost onto an already stretched budget, it will be well worth it for your hair to look exactly as you want it to on your special day.

Verbal only

* Generally takes 40 minutes to complete.

Basic hairstyling + verbal

$60.00

* Generally takes 60-90 minutes, depending on how many styles are trialed. The hair is pinned up roughly to give a basic impression of your chosen styles. This is a good option if you are unsure what style you would like as very little hairspray is used so you can easily try out more than one style.

Full hairstyling + verbal

* Generally takes 90-120 minutes. The hair is fully styled as it would be on the day. This is a good option if you are sure of the style you want, and wish to have a preview of how you will look on the day. With this option it is possible to try out one hairstyle only.

A 50% deposit is required to secure all wedding bookings

Weddings booked for a Sunday or public holiday will incur a surcharge of 25%.
